Welcome to the Sleepout Post!

We’re Mark and Hannah, two Canadian entrepreneurs building a business to help more people sleep better. We’re also a couple and total nerds about sleep, food, adventure, and exercise (sort of on that last one - we’re only human).

Our first product is a portable blackout curtain. (Learn more on our website.) We would love for you to join us!

What are you signing up for?

Follow along as we build and grow this business. Expect some really honest writing about this journey, with our updates covering areas like product development, marketing, fundraising, partnerships, and lots of stories about sleep.

Originally we were going to do this the old-fashioned way: an email bcc list. First lesson: that got out of hand fast. (Plus you can see/share replies here!)

Right now we’re most focused on product development and community building.

How often?

Probably once a month, with exceptions being big/major updates! (the kind you’d want to know about. Nothing annoying and we promise to not disrupt your sleep.)

Every new edition of the newsletter goes directly to your inbox.

Why subscribe?

Be part of a community of people who share your interests about sleep, travel, entrepreneurship, or us. (Just kidding on that last one).

We’ll share sleep and wellness tips, interviews with experts, and get nerdy about what happens when you hit the hay. We’ll also write about the realities and roller coaster of building a business. All of this is a conversation and we’d love to talk.

Also, if you know someone who you think might like us, please tell your friends, tell your mom, tell your friends’ moms!
